Welcome to Cat Lady Centre Stage!
In my life, I've met so many amazing cat ladies. Unfortunately, many cat ladies still face a lot of stereotypes: that they are crazy essentially. My goal of this blog is to celebrate the amazing cat ladies I've met, and share with the world how diverse and amazing cat ladies are.
This week, we are talking to Robyn E. and her beautiful girl Charlie.
Please tell me about Miss Charlie!
I acquired Charlie online. Her mom or owner (not sure which) had abandoned her in someone's backyard. Unfortunately, that person could not keep her so I took her in. I have owned cats when I was younger but Charlie is my first cat as an adult. I have had her for about 2 years now.
Please tell me about yourself!
A little about me .... I work security in Edmonton. I eventually would like to work in law enforcement or finish my degree in criminal justice. I enjoy the outdoors and love to hike. I have a passion for animals and spend most of my time relaxing. I am an introvert and not really into social gatherings.
What is your favorite part of being a cat mom?
My favorite part about being a cat mom is watching the weird and mischievous things Charlie does even if I know she's just doing things to make me mad. She is quite weird and brings a lot of laughter and head shakes into my life.
What is the most challenging part of being a cat mom?
The most challenging part is going from owning a dog who is trained to having a cat that does whatever she wants no matter what. That and leaving bits of litter all over my house.
Do you have any future cat-plans right now?
